The Kansas City Museum’s Eighth Annual Dia de los Muertos Celebration will explore the history and cultural traditions of Día de los Muertos.

This year, Dia de los Muertos is presented in partnership with the Mattie Rhodes Art Center, TICO Productions, StoneLion Puppet Theatre, Mi Mercado Fresh Market, Artists Craftsman KC, and Crossroads Hotel.

Because the health and wellness of our patrons, staff, and community is always a top priority at the Kansas City Museum, only the Day of the Dead viewing of the altar is presented this year.

We are partnering with Mattie Rhodes Art Center, Mi Mercado Fresh Market, Artists Craftsman KC, to create two beautiful outdoor altar installations on the historic grounds.
