Guided Group Tours and School Field Trips led by museum staff are offered Tuesdays and Wednesdays only when the Museum is closed to the public.
Group Tours
For Group Tours, guests will learn about the history of the Long family, the history of the museum, and the restoration and renovation process of Corinthian Hall. Guests are welcome to shop in Wisteria, the museum’s retail boutique, during or after the tour.
Number of Guests
At this time, Group Tours are defined as a minimum of seven (7) and a maximum of twenty-five (25).
Duration
Group Tours last from 1.5 to 2 hours and are guided by a museum staff member.
Times
Group tours are available 10:00 a.m. to Noon and 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Cost
The cost is $12 per adult and $10 for seniors (ages 65+).
Parking & Entrance
Street parking ONLY is available. There are four streets that surround the Kansas City Museum property: Gladstone Blvd., Indiana Ave., Norledge Ave., and Walrond Ave.
For Group Tours, please park on Walrond Ave. and enter the property using the gate near the corner of Walrond Ave. and Gladstone Blvd. Once inside the property, take the ramp leading to the outdoor elevator lift. Take the lift up to the front porch. Then, enter Corinthian Hall at the front doors of the building.

School Field Trips
School Field Trips connect to exhibit content, may be tailored to the learning goals and curriculum of the classroom, and provide teachers with pre- and post-visit activities.
Number of Students
At this time, the museum can accommodate a maximum of twenty-five, 25, students at one time.
Duration
School Field Trips last for 2 hours and are guided by a museum educator.
Times
Offered Tuesdays and Wednesdays only when the Museum is closed to the public.
Cost
The cost is $5 per student. We do not charge a fee for teachers and chaperones.
Parking & Entrance
Buses can drop off students and teachers/chaperones on the south side of Gladstone Blvd., in front of the entrance to Corinthian Hall. Buses may remain parked on Gladstone Blvd. or buses may park on Walrond Ave.
