Lula Edwards

Lula Edwards is a Cherokee descendant, a student at the Kansas City Art Institute, and an employee of Kansas City Indian Center (KCIC). She has taught basket weaving and interned at KCIC’s youth camp.  Lula aims to inspire and connect with current and future generations to ensure that traditional Indigenous and Native culture, practices, crafts, and art are not lost and continue to be shared with the community.
