Making A Museum KC

Making a Museum KC (#MakingAMuseumKC) is the name of the Kansas City Museum’s capital campaign to raise private funds for the restoration and renovation of the entire property.

Currently, the Kansas City Museum is actively fundraising for the design and construction of JewelHouse. Please visit the JewelHouse by Summer Wheat page on this website to learn more about the project.

You may make a contribution to JewelHouse online (click the Make a Contribution button below) for any amount, and you may make a contribution to JewelHouse online that is part of the Leadership Giving Levels (see below), which include meaningful recognition and benefits.

The Museum also offers Legacy Giving Levels starting at $100,000+ that provide naming opportunities and tailored engagement that meets the goals of the Funder, the Museum, and the Community. To learn more about the Legacy Giving Levels and to make a gift, please contact Anna Marie Tutera at atutera@kansascitymuseum.org.

All gifts to the Leadership Giving Levels and Legacy Giving Levels will be recognized inside JewelHouse on a custom designed donor wall, and all gifts provide special invitations to private events for JewelHouse.

To make a contribution to JewelHouse with a check, please make your check payable to the Kansas City Museum Foundation, write ”JewelHouse” on the memo line, and send the check to:
