The Kansas City Museum offers guided tours Thursday – Sunday when the Museum is open to the public. Tours offer opportunities for discussion and connection.
HISTORY OF THE LONG FAMILY TOUR
Corinthian Hall, the former R.A. Long family mansion, is the first building on the Kansas City Museum property to be restored and renovated. Join Visitor Experience Educator Janet McGuire for a one-hour guided tour of the first floor of Corinthian Hall. Learn about the history and the philanthropy of the Long family. Enjoy the ambiance of each room, explore how particular rooms were significant to Long family members, and revel in the imagination of living in the Gilded Age.

ARCHITECTURE TOUR – COMING SUMMER 2024
Corinthian Hall is the first building on the property to be restored and renovated. More projects are in process guided by a robust master plan. Join Executive Director Anna Marie Tutera and special guests for a 1.5-hour guided tour about the architectural restoration and renovation of Corinthian Hall and exciting plans for the rest of property. Then, gather for lively conversation and networking over a glass of wine, bubbly, or non-alcoholic beverage and snacks on the historic grounds (weather permitting) or in Cafe at 3218.
