Everybody loves cookies, especially around the holidays. And what better way to celebrate than by decorating your very own box of treats? Join Kellen Whaley of Whaley Sweet as he walks you through a step-by-step class on how to decorate a set of four holiday-themed cookies. Sugar cookies, icing, supplies, and maybe a snack or two will be provided. All you need to bring is a willingness to learn and some holiday cheer!
Kellen Whaley has been baking for over a decade and is 100% self-taught. He created Whaley Sweet in 2013 and has been providing sweet treats to friends and family, as well as the greater Kansas City metro, ever since. In 2018 he was a winner on Food Network’s Christmas Cookie Challenge and returned in 2019 to become winner of Cookie Wars. He was last seen on Food Network in 2021 on a Returning Champions episode of Christmas Cookie Challenge. All the while, he has expanded his reach in KC, doing pop-ups and teaching instructional classes.
