Join the Museum’s Curator of Collections Lisa Shockley for a guided conversation discussing the unusual story of one of the original furniture pieces from the Corinthian Hall dining room.

Originally designed by the interior design firm of William Baumgarten & Company, the piece was left to the Kansas City Museum in the 1971 will of Loula Long Combs. However, it was over 50 years before it returned to its original spot in Corinthian Hall.

Enjoy a complimentary glass of white wine or beer (21 y/o+), house soda, or drip coffee, at Elixir, located downstairs, after the lecture. *Other drink options available for purchase.
