Join the Museum’s Curator of Collections Lisa Shockley for a guided conversation centered Samuel Coffman and one of his inventions, the Perfume Vending machine. Coffman was an author, jeweler, and inventor who lived most of his life in Kansas City. He held over 60 patents, including for this vending machine.

Caron Perfumery in Paris recreated the scent that was originally sold in this machine for the Kansas City Museum, so participants can actually smell the Nuit de Noel fragrance.
