SPACEMOB, Capstone Entertainment Group, and BrightStar Media In Association with Red Echo Group and Caribbean Lifestyle Productions are proud to present an Original Television Series and the winner of 98 awards from across the Globe, Girl Unscripted. This passionate and heartbreaking series makes its World Premiere on local PBS stations in September, and at stations across the US in October. View the Season Premiere (Episode 1) one of this series about local girls/young women and the struggles that they have had to overcome on their journey to adulthood.
Director, Tara Veneruso, is an Austin TX native and SXSW award-winning director who got the idea to shoot Girl Unscripted while visiting the area for another film. Her producing partner, Eric Keith, is from Kansas City originally, and now makes his home in Wilmington, NC. Red Echo Group is a not-for-profit film company that supports the production of impactful documentary films. The local studio, SPACEMOB (Overland Park, KS), heads up distribution and is a Co-Producer of Girl Unscripted.
